Creative Vision: It all starts with your vision. Check out magazines, pinterest boards, websites and start to get a sense of the character, color, texture and formality you are looking for in your florals.
Connect: Send Rae an email at celebRAEtions@gmail.com and be sure to include your event date, location and inspiration photos if you have gotten that far in the creative process (totally fine if you haven't). She will work with you to schedule a time to set up a coffee or cocktail date consult. *It is usually helpful to have your date and venue set before we meet to help Rae identify the thematic style of your event.
Consult: Consults typically take about an hour and include lots of questions! Come prepared to tell Rae all about the history of your event...Rae loves hearing all about your little one's love of dinosaurs or your romantic engagement stories. It is during the consult that RAE will talk to you about both her floral and event styling services and how best to assist you in designing the pinterest worthy affair you have been dreaming about.
Proposals & Contract:
Your proposal will list in detail your floral and decor needs, along with estimate pricing and contract information. Rae works with multiple wholesalers and other retailers to identify the best floral and decor pricing. for you and your event. Pending the season, size and scope of your soiree a proposal will take at least 2 weeks for you to receive although in some cases it will take longer. If your special event is just around the corner, please let us know so that we can expedite your proposal.
Next Steps, Options & Edits: Our proposal will feature the items we talked about in our initial consult, but will also include a category called “Additional Items to Consider”. Specializing in event styling, RAE loves to provides clients with custom design ideas she feels best showcase the event's honoree. In addition, she will offer additional styling services for tables and displays (example - for your dessert station, gift or photo displays tables, etc.) and will be sure to discuss these opportunities during the consult.
Edits: We typically do one round of edits from the initial proposal. For brides/grooms, we’ll meet 6 weeks out from the wedding to review everything in great detail before placing your floral orders. Since it is unlikely that you’ll know your timeline or table count at this meeting, we will also touch base over the via email about 2 weeks before the wedding to finalize these details.
Contract & Deposit:
For wedding clients, Rae encourages you to pay your $500 deposit promptly after receiving the proposal, as this secures us working together for your date. You can change any aspect of your wedding up until 1 month before, so you don’t need to worry about having the entire proposal finalized when you pay the deposit. From there, 50% of the balance is due 1 month prior to the wedding and the remainder is due on your wedding day.
For non-wedding events, we will provide you with a customized deposit based on your order. Then we look to receive the rest of the payment upon delivery on event day.
