Rae is a floral design, event stylinng and crafting enthusiast, who has a sweet spot for blue hydrangeas, champagne cocktails and entertaining friends and family at their home in South Boston, where she resides with her husband, Kristian, 8 year old son, and their super sweet cocker spaniel.
An absolute romantic, she loves celebrating life and cherishing family, friends and those unexplainable happy moments…because well let's face it life can be filled with emotional struggle, bad days and obstacles. This is why she embraces those once in a lifetime experiences, that can only happen around a candle lit dinner table with your best friends, at your nephew’s first birthday party or at your best friend’s wedding.
Rae believes that authentic and meaningful "parties" have the amazing power to heal the soul, renew connections and share joyful energy with guests. Growing up in a household where depression was a real life challenge for her family, she quickly became passionate about designing personal, fun and celebratory event experiences for her friends, family and classmates.
Today, she has taken her passion to another level, having styled, planned and/or coordinated more than 100 events since 2004. Ranging in size, scope and formality, Rae has planned Great Gatsby cocktail receptions, non-profit dinners at four star hotels, high school reunions, wine tasting bridal showers and pirate themed birthday parties. The more creative the better.
Rae has worked with a vast group of Boston’s premier florists, catering companies and venues including the Four Seasons Hotel, the Mandarin Hotel, the Charles Hotel, the Colonnade, Fenway Park and Gillette Stadium in Foxboro and has coordinated events anywhere from private homes and backyards to intimate restaurants.
A Certified International Wedding Planning Professional (CIWPP), Rae loves helping couples brainstorm and communicate their wedding day style through thoughtful color palettes, floral designs, décor, fashion and catering.
Having trained with a professional florist, Rachel is also registered with the Boston Flower Exchange and looks forward to incorporating floral designs into your next RAE styled affair. or serving as your personal florist at your next special event.
